Anyone who lives with and loves their pet will tell you the same thing. It is so difficult to watch your pet when they are sick or injured. Our pets cannot communicate how they are feeling, we must be attentive to changes in their usual behavior for the clues. Secondly, we as their "best friend" must stay educated in order to keep our furry friends healthy. I am not a veterinarian, simply a person who loves her dog. I have decided to devote this area of our website to articles and stories related to canine health concerns.
Recently, we encountered a new health problem with Casey. A rather common health disorder in older dogs. We did not have much information, so we consulted our veterinarian. We thought it might be useful to share Casey's story about lipoma, so others may learn as we did.
